The Man Who Laughs – Review

So, you think you’re The Joker’s biggest fan?  You know his pet hyenas are named Bud and Lou, you know who wrote his first appearance in Batman issue #1, when someone says “Mark Hamil” you don’t even think of Star Wars?  Well, even hardcore Bat-Fans might be surprised to know that The Joker was heavily inspired by a character from a Victor Hugo novel, The Man Who Laughs.  It’s the story of a man whose face is disfigured into a permanent grin, and it was adapted into a stage production which is currently running off-off Broadway.
