Mass Effect Paragon Lost – Review

Commander Shepard should never appear in any adaptation of Mass Effect.  Shepard is the main character from the games, but each player gets to define their own Shepard.  Players can choose Shepard’s gender, race, sexual preference, powers, skills, weapons and morality.  Every player feels that their unique interpretation of Shepard is the correct one, and if your Shepard is a lesbian albino sniper, then a movie where Shepard is a straight black man with a shotgun just won’t be right.  That’s why the new animated Mass Effect movie Paragon Lost has wisely chosen to focus on one of Shepard’s teammates, James Vega.
